Thank you for the confirmation, we have not encountered any other problems that would raise this exception yet.
In that case, could you tell us more about your configuration and whether it is any different from the configuration you used at your old laptop or the one Frank uses? Specifically, we are interested in:
- Operating System
- Physical network - are you able to connect to Kerberos?
Also, please look into the following folders, they may contain a log with more information about the error:
C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\Dell\Toad for Apache Hadoop\*version*\log
C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\Dell\Toad for Apache Hadoop\*version*\.metadata\.log
